AAT/AAA

AAT/AAA provide opportunities for motivational, educational, therapeutic and/or recreational benefits to enhance quality of life. AAA are delivered in a variety of environments by a specially trained professional, paraprofessional, and/or volunteer in association with animals that meet specific criteria.
We provide structured, a goal-directed intervention in which an animal is incorporated as an integral part of the treatment process. AAT is documented and evaluated within an individualized treatment plan. Sessions generally have a fixed length.

Farm Mindfulness

We provide opportunities for motivational, educational, therapeutic and/or recreational benefits to enhance quality of life with or without the aid of an animal caregiver or licensed mental health professional. Our activities include yoga and meditation on our private facility. You can come alone or with a friend. These are  sessions to practice sitting quietly and controlling your breathing. Being present and seeing our sanctuary animals in their natural habitats is a wonderful way to reduce stress and increase endorphins. We even have a garden to walk through and meditate.
